Weekend Wrap Up

This weekend really started on Wednesday with anticipation of my parents finally moving here to Raleigh. They've been planning this move for over two years and the day had finally come! Not only was it moving day for them but Thursday was my dad's 52nd birthday. How did they celebrate? Well, they would have spent it driving all day but thanks to my mom, the day ended up being just a little bit sweeter.

Movies Under The Stars

One of the items on my summer bucket list is to go to a movie in the park. I've never done this before and lucky for me I just found a treasure trove of information about movies in parks in Raleigh! Quick tip if you live in an apartment: ask your office if they have a community bulletin board, Facebook page, Instagram, etc. If they do, and actually keep it up to date, you'll be surprised with the amount of information you can find there.

Weekend Wrap Up

Happy Monday friends, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Mine was pretty good. I had been going a little stir crazy from being in the house most of the week so on Friday I decided to check out the state farmer's market. Being that it was the first farmer's market I've ever been to, I didn't really know what to expect.
